6:45 p.m. – Lisa Zanghi

Lisa Zanghi performed locally in the ‘70s and ‘80s at various nightclubs in the Mobile area. Lisa has written and co-written well over 70 songs, one of which was recorded by Doug Stone. Her style is adult contemporary with a bluesy, jazz influence. Lisa has published two of her own CD’s, “A Woman Does Too” and “Brighter Days,” and is currently working on a third to be released this summer.

8:00 p.m. – Lisa Mills

She has traveled the world playing with internationally known bands such as Janis Joplin’s first band, Big Brother and The Holding Company. When Lisa Mills opens her mouth to sing, the words that follow become irrelevant in the wake of her compelling bluesy delivery.

9:15 p.m. – Michael Bolton

Singer/songwriter Michael Bolton achieved much of his success as a soft rock balladeer in the early 80s. His self-titled debut album was released in April 1983, and made the Top 100 bestsellers. “Time, Love and Tenderness,” released in 1991, was even more successful, selling more than 6 million copies and featuring four Top 40 hits, including the chart-topping cover of Percy Sledge’s “When a Man Loves a Woman.” His 2006 release, “Til The End Of Forever” is currently rising up the Adult Contemporary charts. With too many hits to possibly name here, Bolton has consistently created songs that are familiar to millions.

Saturday, October 7

2:30 p.m. – Phar Fletcher

Phar Fletcher is well known around the Mobile area. Since their debut in 2002, they have successfully developed themselves as a permanent mainstay with a highly respected reputation. They can regularly be found in downtown Mobile playing at all the local hot spots.

4:00 p.m. – Top of the Orange

Hard rock is more than a sound when Top of the Orange hits the stage. Currently in the studio producing their first album is multi-platinum rock titans 3 Doors Downs, Matt Roberts, and 3 Doors Down’s live engineer Kirk Kelsey. Top of the Orange is a rock group that’s going to rock the house on the Pepsi stage on Saturday.

5:30 p.m. – Evans Blue

Toronto modern hard rock quintet Evans Blue came together around 2003 after its members found each other by chance through a local musician’s message board. The band has been compared to such bands as Tool and Audiovent and have already earned themselves a place in the alternative rock scene with their hit, “Cold (But I’m Still Here)”.

7:00 p.m. – Hinder

Post-grunge rockers, Hinder got started in the early 2000s in Oklahoma City and started landing gigs opening locally for acts like Theory of a Deadman (who performed at last year’s festival). The quintet signed with Universal Records for their 2005 debut, “Extreme Behavior”. Hinder may be fairly new to the music scene, but they have already formed a huge following.

8:45 p.m. – 10 Years

The alternative-metal group 10 Years has created a huge following with their Tool and Incubus induced, energy-driven melodies. Their latest single, “Through the Iris,” as well as the rest of the tracks from their 2005 release, “The Autumn Effect,” are a perfect blend of energy, poetry, and emotion that are sure not to disappoint.

10:30 p.m. – Shinedown

Melodic hard rockers Shinedown hail from Jacksonville, Fla. and feature vocalist Brent Smith, guitarist Jasin Todd, bassist Brad Stewart, and drummer Barry Kerch. The band has earned their bragging rights with hit singles like “Fly from the Inside”, “45”, and a remake of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man”. Coincidently enough, Lynyrd Skynrd is headlining the Cingular Wireless stage the following night.

Sunday, October 8

2:30 p.m. – Hamelin

Hamelin is a band native to Mobile whose unique styles of sweet acoustics and catchy melodies have helped them to become a well-recognized group on the Gulf Coast. The singles “Job” and “Whisper” have become unofficial classics for the Gulf Coast area.

4:00 p.m. – The Ugli Stick

Formed in 2000, The Ugli Stick is led by frontman Eric “The Birdman” Erdman, an acoustic guitar player with magnetic stage presence and undeniable charisma. The Ugli Stick’s music is an innovative Fusion influenced by pop, hip-hop, rock and funk. They have an energetic show with freestyle lyrics and a great stage presence.

5:45 p.m. – Sister Hazel

Formed in 1993, Sister Hazel is an acoustic pop band based in Gainesville, Fla., featuring vocalist/guitarist Ken Block, guitarist/vocalist Andrew Copeland, lead guitarist Ryan Newell, bassist Jeff Beres, and drummer Mark Trojanowski. When Universal Records re-released their debut album in the winter of 1997, the catchy love-struck first single “All For You” became one of the most played songs on radio that year. Sister Hazel returned in the summer of 2000 with the follow-up album “Fortress.”

7:30 p.m. —The Wreckers featuring Michelle Branch

The Wreckers (short for “home wreckers”) were formed when Michelle Branch recruited her longtime friend and backing singer Jessica Harp, who, at the time, was en route to signing a record deal of her own on a new musical venture. They incorporate elements from both Branch’s pop-rock style and Harp’s classical style to form a unique-sounding ensemble.

6:45 p.m. – Rick Huckaby

Born in Louisiana, Huckaby maintains family roots that run deep in Cajun country. After moving to Nashville in 1996, he signed a publishing deal as a songwriter, and before long, country star Tracy Lawrence noticed Huckaby’s six-string strengths and hired him as a guitarist in his band. His new album “Huck’s Acoustic Tracks,” will surely take the world by storm.

8:30 p.m. – Keith Anderson

Country heartthrob Keith Anderson’s first big country music break was a behind-the-scenes job. Writing ad jingles for local radio became his first paying gig in music and soon led him to Nashville. Playing around town introduced him to some of the local professional songwriters, most notably George Ducas. Writing a couple songs with the well-revered Ducas was a big endorsement for Anderson, and soon every publishing house in Nashville was aware of him. Anderson released his debut album “Three Chord Country And American Rock & Roll” in 2005.

10:15 p.m. – Gretchen Wilson

Gretchen Wilson moved to Nashville from Ill. in 1996 and bar tended while singing on demos and in clubs for seven years. She and John Rich, a former member of Lonestar, wrote the single “Redneck Woman,” an autobiographical song in which she unabashedly celebrates her redneck, white-trash background, which consists of bartending and living in trailer parks. In late May 2004, “Redneck Woman” became the first by a solo female singer to top the Billboard country singles chart in over two years.

2:30 p.m. – Jon Miller

Hailing from Satsuma, Miller is best known throughout the Gulf Coast area for his exciting live shows, imaginative songs, and infectious music video show. He has been the opening act for such artists as Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, and Josh Turner in venues that range from BayFest to the Greater Gulf State Fair.

4:00 p.m. – New Orleans Rhythm and Blues Co. featuring Michelle Ploue

Ten years in the making and comprised of veterans of the New Orleans music scene, the New Orleans Rhythm and Blues Co. opened for business in 1998. They released a single in 1999 that became an immediate hit and then released a live CD described as a sure-fire dose of rocking blues.

5:30 p.m. – Fat Man Squeeze

Located in Mobile, Fat Man Squeeze plays many different sounds to please a variety of tastes such as blue grass, old country, new-grass, punk-grass, and Irish music. Being so versatile, Fat Man Squeeze will often play in a Honky Tonk on Friday, a punk-rock club on Saturday, and a church on Sunday.

7:00 p.m. – Blaine Larsen

With the help of one of his classmates, Blaine Larsen was recognized by Rory Lee Feek, a successful songwriter in Nashville. After hearing his CD, Feek and songwriter Tim Johnson flew the 15-year-old singer back to Nashville for a legitimate recording session, and Larsen was signed with BMG Records. At the end of 2004, the label released the single “How Do You Get That Lonely,” about teenage suicide. His major label debut followed in early 2005.

8:30 p.m. – Trick Pony

Contemporary country trio Trick Pony drew heavily from the sounds of the 70s, particularly outlaw country and country-rock. With two albums under their belt, they have earned Awards from both Academy of Country Music and the American Music Awards. The success of their 2005 release “R.I.D.E.” proves that the band has staying power and will surely bring a huge crowd of fans to this festival this year.

10:15 p.m. – Gary Allan

Gary Allan hit the country music circuit in his native Southern California at age 12. With his 2001 release, “Alright Guy,” Allan proved that he was only getting better with age. Its single, “Man to Man,” became the singer’s first number-one hit. It was later followed by 2005’s “Tough All Over” which went on to earn a spot in the Top Ten. With endless amounts of talent, Gary Allan is one headliner act that you won’t want to miss this year.

2:30 p.m. – John Lisi & The Delta Funk

Funky, groovy, and jamming, but most of all original is the best way to describe John Lisi & the Delta Funk. Comprised of three seasoned musicians who pride themselves on delivering improvised jams, the band has three CD’s out with one on the way and a consistent tour schedule averaging 200 gigs a year nationwide. Offbeat Magazine says John Lisi & the Delta Funk “snort and stomp like an unholy cross between the Chili Peppers and Led Zeppelin, the future of New Orleans music.”

4:00 p.m. – Carolina Rain

Harmony vocal trio Carolina Rain consists of Rhean Boyer (guitar), Jeremy Baxter (mandolin), and Marvin Evatt (banjo, guitar). Named after the first song they wrote together, Carolina Rain came to the attention of Clint Black’s Equity Music Group label, and the trio became the label’s first official signing.

5:30 p.m. – Little Big Town (above)

The country vocal quartet Little Big Town began with Kimberly Roads and Karen Fairchild, both from Georgia, who began singing together in college. With the addition of Jimi Westbrook and Phil Sweet, they were taken up by the Dixie Chicks’ record label, Monument Records, in 2000. The band has climbed to the Top 10 on the Hot Country Charts at Billboard.com with their hits “Bring It On Home” and “Boondocks.”

7:15 p.m. – Lynard Skynard

Southern Rock Legend Lynyrd Skynyrd was formed in 1965 and has been called the signature rock group of America’s working people. Serving as a new milestone in their forty-year career, Lynyrd Skynyrd has recently been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With countless hits such as “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Saturday Night Special” “Tuesday’s Gone” and “Gimme Three Steps,” just to name a few, Skynyrd is sure to leave crowds hungry for more.

6:45 p.m. – Sharon Rae North

Sharon Rae North is an extremely talented jazz artist full of creative energy. Her performance combines smooth and easy mixtures or originals, standards, straight-ahead and smooth contemporary jazz.

8:15 p.m. – Dennis “Finger Roll” Nelson

A native of Mobile, Dennis Nelson has been entertaining his audiences for over 30 years. He earned much of his fame from his band, Finger Roll, where he teamed up with Otis Williams of The Temptations. Nelson’s more current songs like the religiously natured “It’s All Good (Romans 8:28),” and “The Way I Feel About You” explore his spirituality and really send powerful messages.

10:00 p.m. – Patti LaBelle

One notable soulful maven whose indelible talent has earned her a rightful place among rhythm and blues royalty is the incomparable Patti Labelle. For more than 40 years in the music business, the two-time Grammy-winning legend continues to solidify herself as a musical pioneer. Never resting on her laurels, Patti embarks on a new genesis as Def Soul Classic/Def Jam’s premiere artist with the release of her introspective masterpiece, “Timeless Journey.”

2:30 p.m. – 2V6

2V6 (256), consists of two Alabama young men, Shakerian (Kerry) and Ca$$anova (Clifford) whose style and drive shines brightly on every person they meet. Their image and music touches on every facet of our society, from the smooth R&B love song to the newly defined upbeat Hip Hop mix.

4:00 p.m. – DaysAhead

DaysAhead is a duo consisting of rock/jazz guitarist Steve Wright and Gospel/Soul vocalist Kim Leachman. Their music is bursting with its own distinct style that incorporates many elements of rock, jazz and R&B. Based in Atlanta, DaysAhead is another impressive young act making its mark on the vibrant musical scene.

5:30 p.m. – Coco & the Full House Band

Coco & the Full House Band are known for their jazzy beats, and smooth groove tunes that will keep fans hungry for more. You won’t want to miss their performance on the Miller Lite Stage.

7:00 p.m. – Billy “Soul” Bonds

Billy “Soul” Bonds entered the Contemporary Gospel scene in 1996 with his debut album, “Deep Inside My Soul.” His emotional compilations of jazz and blues are a must see. He is currently on tour promoting his new album, “Here Kitty Kitty,” and will be opening for Urban Mystic on Saturday night.

8:30 p.m. – Urban Mystic

Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Urban Mystic (Brandon Williams) developed his passion for music at his father’s church where he began performing at a very young age. By the time he reached his teens, he knew he wanted to make music all of his life, and he began preparing for a career in the industry. Mystic has found himself positioned alongside the likes of Usher, Jaheim, and other young urban male singers, though his spiritual side has made him somewhat unique.

10:00 p.m. – Al Green

Al Green was the most popular and influential soul singer of the early 1970s, influencing not only his contemporaries but also veterans like Marvin Gaye. Green was at the peak of his popularity when he suddenly decided to join the ministry in the mid 1970s. He incorporated elements of gospel, interjecting his performances with wild moans and wails; his records, however, were stylish, boasting immaculate productions that rolled along with a tight beat, sexy backing vocals, and lush strings. A legend in soul music, Reverend Al Green is one Gospel superstar you won’t want to miss this year!

2:30 p.m. – Emerge

Formed in the spring of 2003, Emerge has separated itself from other bands in the area by bringing together a talented and eclectic mix of seasoned professional musicians. The members of Emerge have backgrounds steeped in gospel, soul, hip-hop, R&B, rock-n-roll, and traditional blues.

4:00 p.m. – The Fusion Band

From Jacksonville, Florida, The Fusion Band mixes smooth jazz beats and R&B to create a definitive sound that will get any party started. Led by female saxophonist, Allana Southerland, you will be clapping your hands and stomping your feet to the grooves that this band provides!

5:30 p.m. – M.C. Hammer

MC Hammer (later Hammer, born Stanley Kirk Burrell) is an American rapper who was popular during the 1980s and early 1990s, known for his dramatic rise to and fall from fame and fortune, his trademark parachute pants, and for leaving a lasting influence on hip hop culture and music with hits such as “U Can’t Touch This” and “Pray”. He became a preacher in the 1990s and now has his own television program.

7:30 p.m. – Charlie Wilson

Charlie Wilson was lead singer for the Gap Band in 1992, which had three platinum albums, two gold certificates, and supplied hit singles for movie soundtracks. After a long hiatus, Wilson returned in 2000 with “Bridging the Gap,” issued by Interscope and sporting appearances by Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg and Case. The album became an R&B hit and brushed the Top 200 album chart as well. His 2005 LP “Charlie, Last Name Wilson” hit the Top Ten thanks to the success of the title track “Magic.”

7:15 p.m. – Caddle

Described as “Dixie fried roots rock with a dash of punk,” Caddle draws on classic country and bluegrass influences, and then supercharges them with hard driving rock-n-roll with an attitude. In 2005, Caddle opened for J Records recording artist Silvertide. On stage Walt Lafty, lead singer of Silvertide said, “Caddle is the best band I have seen in two years of being on the road.” A huge compliment considering Silvertide has opened for Aerosmith, Van Halen and Velvet Revolver.

8:30 p.m. – Cat Fish Flats

Cat Fish Flats bring in new fans at every show. The members consist of George Eberlein, Ricky Long, and Henry Jolley. Their major influences consist of the Beatles, The Allman Brothers, Willy “Big Eyes” Smith, Freddy Below, and Eric Clapton.

10:45 p.m. – Andre & the Night Hounds

These guys love to play the blues. Native to New York City, they have made a name for themselves on the East Coast by bringing a raw energy on stage that is just plain infectious.

3:30 p.m. – Stereohype

These six guys truly put all they have into every show, and their performances intrigue crowds of all ages. Stereohype will bring a rocking time that will leave crowds feeling great.

5:00 p.m. – The Grey

The Grey’s live performance delivers high energy and brings a new sound to the rock music genre. This Alabama based band brings a unique vocal style and innovative musical talent to the music industry.

6:30 p.m. – Revel

Composed of twin brothers Jason and Jarett Crockett, Ben Minor, and John Peacock, Revel always leaves crowds hungry for more. Their catchy beats and slick riffs are a must see for all ages.

8:15 p.m. – Chronic Blues

Chronic Blues originated in Mobile and has quickly become one of the most popular bands around the Gulf Coast. By combining influences of Blues and Rock, Chronic Blues has generated a large following of a variety of listeners. Jaw-dropping stage antics and uncompromising performances have made them high-demand in the area.

10:00 p.m. – Lock 13

In late 2003, Soil bassist, Tim King discovered Lock 13. Having received the 7-song EP from a friend, he was impressed by the strong song writing skills and chemistry of the band. They signed to Mortal Music Label in February 2005. Their debut album, Inner Enemy was recorded in July 2005 at Beiler Bro’s Studio in Miami. With a background like this, Lock 13 will is going to be huge in the near future.

3:30 p.m. – Paradigm

From Mobile, Paradigm has been together for a year and a half. The trio consists of Nick Markow, James Patton, and Josh Richards. Classic rock is a major influence of this band’s style. Paradigm is a rock band with plenty of energy and an awesome stage presence.

5:15 p.m. – The Tiles

The Tiles is a rock band whose talent and skill keeps them in the papers. According to the Alternative Press, if you like The Pixies, Superchunk, or The Wedding Present, you will love The Tiles. Maximum Rock N Roll hailed them as one of the best bands of 2005. The Press Register calls The Tiles, “Mobile’s Best New Band.”

7:00 p.m. – Hyde Project

Playing in the Mobile area since 2003, Hyde Project strives to bring original music to the cover band bar scene in Mobile. Their shows feature an eclectic collection of original songs that are all different in sound and style. Their music was born in 2001 in a Wilmer. AL warehouse with the guitar and vocal talents of brothers Grant and Bayne Dunaway. The rock solid rhythm section addition of bassist Jason Corley and drummer Dave Martin laid the tracks for the big funky rock-n-roll locomotive.

An active trance DJ since 1997, Dragon has developed a style of his own, pushing the psychedelic trance sound into a more driving and hypnotic direction. Dragon heads up the VORTEX trance crew in Mississippi under TOUCH Samadhi productions; hosting indoor and Open Air events in the region. After 2 years of production and research on wavelengths and sub-harmonic frequencies, He has created a live set that will push the emotional boundaries of psychedelic trance music.

Thruoutingenue began in late May 2006 as former band mates Brad Seippel & Brittany Terry combined forces in order to prepare for a concert at a house party in the Hillsdale area dubbed “The Underwear Party.” Since this event Seippel and Terry have been working together in hopes of creating what some say to be an actual band.

7:00 p.m. – Mad happy

Mad Happy is an act that pushes the envelope with a distinctive and edgy sound, solidly rooted in hip-hop and the blues. Mike iLL and Rivka draw on a rainbow of influences from Hasidic folk melodies to Public Enemy to Hank Williams, Nina Simone, Madonna and Sly Stone.

8:00 p.m. – Sonny Bama & DJ JustJeff

9:00 p.m. – Dead PA

DEAD P.A. is the high-octane dance project consisting of Texas veteran artists Jason Walsh and George Blitch. While most dance floor/DJ-oriented music only gets play at clubs via DJs, DEAD P.A. takes it live with a dynamic interaction of live percussion, guitar, keys, vocals and programmable audio. The act currently maintains a residence in downtown Houston, TX at the club Dean’s Credit Clothing on the last Thursday of every month.

10:00 p.m. – Emily Play & Devine

Devine’s innovative style clearly marks the beginning of a new generation of breaks music. Devine, aka Humphrey Gomez, grew up in Puerto Rico appreciating reggae and hip- hop, but was forever changed when he was introduced to Orlando’s electronic music scene at a rave in 1994. Drawn to electronic dance music, Devine began experimenting with DJing, drum machines and then later graduated to professional computer based music production.

Emily Play (Clough) comes from an entirely different background than most dance producers who usually start off as DJs. Formal musical training since childhood has given her a distinct edge in the competitive world of dance music. With a college education in music composition, vocal performance and a new degree in audio engineering, she is now producing and recording all of her music and vocals electronically.

DJ 360 picked up the hobby of turntables in the early 90s. He soon began playing clubs and parties in Jackson, Miss., and is currently working on an album to be released this year.

Doc has been a DJ since the B-Boy days in the early 80s. In Germany his career really took off performing at local dances, house parties, and mobile gigs around Europe. While in Germany, Doc entered his first DJ spin-off and won title of “All European DJ Champion” in 1988. Currently Doc is the head resident DJ for Swamp in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. The Swamp is an outdoor beach club and has a capacity of 3000 people. During Doc’s busy work schedule, he still has time to produce music for his own independent record label Solution Records.
