The bonds break down to $150,000 for each murder charge and $20,000 for each charge of aggravated child abuse — $10,000 of which Judge Bob Sherling is requiring in cash.
Everett and Knapp were arrested on Jan. 14, but had no comments for reporters as they were taken away. Deputies said the injuries and abuse that led to Burke’s death on Jan. 8 were some of the worst they’ve ever seen.
According to police records, both Everett and Knapp are still being held in the Mobile Metro Jail.
