Democratic legislators from the Mobile area will hold a town hall meeting as part of the party’s statewide listening tour on Thursday to hear constituents’ priorities and concerns.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, at Williamson High School located at 1567 E. Dublin Street in Mobile. It will be hosted by Democratic state representatives Adline Clarke, Napoleon Bracy Jr., Sam Jones and Barbara Drummond as well as State Sen. Vivian Figures.
Residents are invited to voice their concerns on any topic, but promotions for the meeting have mentioned Democratic legislative priorities like jobs, education, prison reform, environmental justice and healthcare.
The event in Mobile is the latest in a series of town hall meetings members of the Alabama House Democratic Caucus have been holding across the state ahead of the 2019 legislative session, which will begin in Montgomery on Tuesday, March 5.
More information on these or other House Democratic Caucus events or activities can be found on its social media platforms — on Twitter @AlHouseDems or at facebook.com/ALHouseDems.
