The Wharf Amphitheater makes quite a positive impression on not only patrons, but also featured artists. Country singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett is taking advantage of his time in Orange Beach by giving his fans a double shot of his Very Hot Summer Tour.
As the son of country star Rhett Akins (also featured on the lineup), Rhett was raised in country music, which has shaped both his sound and his career. Rhett will be giving the crowd a live taste of his upcoming album “Center Point Road,” which has been previewed through singles such as “That Old Truck,” “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time” and “Remember You Young.”
In addition, Rhett’s Very Hot Summer Tour will also feature special guests Russell Dickerson and Dustin Lynch. Both of these artists will warm up the crowd with a modern, cross-genre mix of pop and country. Dickerson will take his audience for a ride in his “Blue Tacoma,” which will be appropriately met by new tracks from Lynch’s EP “Ridin’ Roads.”
