Callaghan’s regulars Oh, Jeremiah — Jeremiah Stricklin and Erin Raber — will open a Sunday evening show of small lineups making big sounds. After years of touring and performing, Oh, Jeremiah has finally released its debut full-length album, “The Other End of Passing Time.”

This album reflects Oh, Jeremiah’s haunting minimalism, especially tracks such as “Dinner Conversations” and “Sinking Ship,” with a sporadic taste of grandeur, as in “Hello Ghost.”

Penny & Sparrow are Andy Baxter and Kyle Jahnke, Alabama natives who have relocated to Austin. “Let a Lover Drown You” is their latest effort, released by the Alabama-based Single Lock Records. John Paul White (Civil Wars) helped hone the album’s overall sound, marked by an acoustic foundation and mingling harmonies.

Penny & Sparrow have infused the album with a smooth, mellow ambiance that is both soothing and catchy. With their tour schedule filled with festivals and large rooms, Penny & Sparrow’s set at Callaghan’s will be a rare chance to hear them in an intimate setting.
