An Airbus A350 XWB is scheduled to fly over Mobile tomorrow, May 23, around 11:20 a.m. as it wraps up extreme weather testing at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
Specifically, the aircraft will do a low-altitude pass over the Airbus Engineering Center and Assembly Line, which is under construction at the Brookley Aeroplex.
The plane is then scheduled to perform a flyover at Magnolia Grove golf course to recognize the LPGA Classic in Mobile, which is sponsored by Airbus.
The scheduled flyovers are part of a flight test program, so the times are subject to change, but as of now everything remains as scheduled.
There are currently four test aircraft flying in the A350 XWB program, and together they have accumulated around 1,600 flight test hours in more than 350 flights.
