One of the modern alt. country movement’s most famous names will be rolling into Orange Beach for a very special night of music. Chris Stapleton used his debut album, “Traveller,” to become the hero of indie alt. country artists across the nation. This mix of Southern rock and classic country sounds sent waves through the country world that still resonate. And his cover of the David Allan Coe hit “Tennessee Whiskey” earned him a multitude of zealous fans. Currently Stapleton fans are enjoying his collaboration with Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran called “Blow.”
Stapleton has loaded this tour with two great support acts. The Marcus King Band’s blues-infused Southern rock is accented by King’s otherworldly skills on the guitar. Brent Cobb is also joining Stapleton on his All-American Road Show. Cobb will be performing in support of his latest album, “Providence Canyon,” which was recorded in Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A with his cousin Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson).
