Irvine, California-based Alorica, one of the largest call and customer service outsourcing centers in the country, has thrown opens its doors today, holding another job fair locally.
Due to expanding needs, the company is looking to immediately fill 400 available spots at its large West Mobile site located at 5441 US-90 in the Tillman’s Corner area.
It is recommended to bring a resume when attending since applicants may be hired on the spot, according to a media announcement. Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED as well as general knowledge of a computer. Customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Previously, trainees went through a five-week, paid program in the Mobile office and a 10-week, paid training session in the Saraland office. Additionally, call center representatives were offered a starting pay rate of $9.00 per hour for full-time positions when the company held a job fair for its Saraland office in 2012.
Specific details for new hires brought on at today’s event were unknown as of press time, however.
