Two people are behind bars following a drug raid Tuesday evening where authorities found infant being kept in a home where several ounces of various narcotics were stored.The house, located on Celeste Road in Saraland, was targeted by the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team in a joint investigation with the Alabama National Guard’s Counterdrug Program.
At the residence, officers seized five ounces of crystal meth, an ounce of powder cocaine, several ounces of marijuana, several dozen prescription pills, $18,000 in cash and made two arrests.Jamiqua Trashelle Glass, 40, and Reginal Carlos Pettway, 39, were taken into custody, where they were both charged with trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
However, because an infant was also found in the house, Glass and Pettway will also face charges of chemical endangerment of a child.
Both are currently being held in Metro Jail without bond pending a hearing in Mobile County Circuit Court.
