The Baldwin County Commission recently adopted a resolution, also known as the Sales Tax Holiday, which allows the exemption of Baldwin County sales and use tax for certain items such as school supplies, computers and clothing. This exemption is supported by the Baldwin County Board of Education.
The Sales Tax Holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7 and continue through midnight on Sunday, Aug. 9.
For a complete list of items that will be exempt, according to the Alabama Department of Revenue Rule No. 810-6-3-65, visit the Baldwin County Sales & Use Tax/License Inspection link here.
