Life is hard on the road for a touring musical act. The endless hours on the asphalt can grow more monotonous with each mile.
Portland’s Leo J could truly give one of the most unique aspects of a road tour. Leo has been traversing the nation on two wheels instead of four.
Instead of a van or car, this troubadour has been traveling to his shows on a bicycle since 2013. However, his performance is enough explanation for his choice of travel.
Leo J mixes homespun sounds with songs effortlessly mingling poetry and storytelling. With down-to-earth guitar filled with gentle croons, this singer-songwriter can soften the hardest crowd with his honest art.
In addition to his music, Leo J is also working on a project called “Common Place.” As he travels the highways of America, he is collecting stories from a variety of individuals in an attempt to find a common bond in America.
