The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be one of the hottest bands featured at Hangout Fest 2015.
This collective of seasoned NOLA musicians are revered not only in the Big Easy but also around the world. This band derives its name from the hallowed Preservation Hall, which has been the epicenter for New Orleans in the French Quarter. Both the band and the Preservation Hall are a family affair. This venue was founded by Allan and Sandra Jaffe and its legacy is maintained by their son Ben Jaffe, who is also a member of the band. This group provides their audiences with a steady delivery of Big Easy jazz that is as spicy as crawfish etouffee. Preservation Hall Jazz Band has traversed the globe bringing the festive attitude of the French Quarter through their jazz. With their addition to the already impressive Hangout Fest line-up, they will bring the Big Easy to the beach with a collection of songs that should force the crowd into a second-line that will last even after the festival has closed its gates.
