Renovation is underway on a new Shoe Station store scheduled to open March 11 in the former Fred’s location in Fairhope.

Business Information Solutions Inc. of Robertsdale, a technology and cybersecurity firm, launched BIS Essentials, a managed IT support service designed specifically for small businesses that need the essential components of a successful technology strategy.

The core of any IT management plan is asset management, data loss prevention, patching and endpoint detection and response. With BIS Essentials, businesses receive asset management, data loss prevention, endpoint detection and response, all while experiencing less downtime with 24/7/365 monitoring by a local, in-house tech team.

“After servicing this market for the last 20 years, I found that some businesses don’t require as much ongoing support and security as others but need the cybersecurity protection,” BIS CEO Phillip Long said. “So, I wanted to offer a custom package for any size organization that provides the right amount of coverage at the right cost.”
