Hangout Fest organizers have a reputation for making each year bigger and better than the previous. They are definitely maintaining their street creds with Hangout Fest 2014.
The world’s biggest beach party has gotten even bigger, with the festival capacity increasing to 40,000. Since the beginning, access to the Gulf of Mexico has been a dream for festival organizers. This year, festivalgoers will be able to swim in the Gulf at specific access points.Hangout Fest is also known for exposing festivalgoers to the freshest sounds on the road, and The Black Cadillacs are sure to be a crowd pleaser.
This band has exploded out of Knoxville, Tenn., with their versatile rock ’n’ roll. Their sound is comprised of equal portions, in a way that makes it hard to put into a specific category. Listeners can feel elements of jam, indie, blues and Southern rock accented with classic rock attitude. This is a quality that should make their Hangout Fest set appeal to a variety of musical tastes.
The Black Cadillacs have been thrilling their crowds and critics with songs off of their 2014 self-titled release. They will spend one week this month showcasing their sounds at SXSW. Afterwards, they will fly over to Europe to give the continent a taste of Tennessee rock. The Black Cadillacs’ rock should keep the crowd moving for the entirety of their set.
