While the downstairs of The Blind Mule serves up delectable dishes, the upstairs delivers all things sonically eclectic. The Attic at The Blind Mule has continued to bring a variety of underground acts to its stage. This could be considered the perfect underground show with two locals performing alongside an out-of-towner.
The Mustachios is one of Mobile’s newest groups. This group’s indie rock sound has to be one of the most infectious that has come out of the Azalea City in a long time. Songs such as “Tailspin” and “300 Million” mesmerize the listener with clean vocals and pop-infused beats.
Mobile’s Beach Weather will bring “music for late nights” to The Attic at The Blind Mule. Beach Weather’s set will be an ethereal movement of ambient sounds. They are fresh from a tour that took them from Texas to Tennessee.
See Through Dresses rounds out this trio. This Nebraska group is a flashback to the early ’90s alt rock movement. They definitely find a muse in The Cure. However, they have added a rock edge to their sound, which steers it away from being submerged completely in old school Goth rock.
