The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after deputies found the body of Devin De’shon Kennedy, 22, of Pensacola in a vehicle parked in Lillian on Sunday morning.
At around 11:30 a.m. the BCSO responded to a report of a man in a car parked on Farley Lane in Lillian. Deputies found a silver Hyundai Elantra sedan with a deceased man inside of the car and after a preliminary look at the scene, the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit was activated.
Investigators with the BCMCU arrived and began processing the scene and identifying the decedent. The deceased was identified as Kennedy and the body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
The case is currently being investigated as a homicide by the BCMCU, the Baldwin County Coroner’s Office, the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office and the Pensacola Police Department.
