Every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. the Mobile Museum of Art, 4850 Museum Drive, offers free admission to all visitors. Join MMOA each week to experience the museum in new and exciting ways throughout the year. No reservations necessary.

ArtRide is a special edition of ArtWalk to raise awareness of and celebrate cycling in our community. A number of galleries and venues will display bike-related art, and there will be activities involving cycling, including an exhibition of bike polo, a fashion show, the unveiling of a bike mural at Delta Bike Project and a Bike Trail featuring decorated bikes at different locations. Mobilians on Bikes will cycle to LoDa, meeting at 6 p.m. at Cream & Sugar Café, 351-B George St.
The Haven will hold an adoption at Petsmart in the Eastern Shore Shopping Plaza, 10200 Eastern Shore Blvd., Spanish Fort. The adoption will start at 9 a.m. with animals that are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. The adopter receives the animal’s medical records, a free bag of Science Diet food, a free pet training DVD and free 30 days of pet health insurance. $90 for dogs and $65 for cats.
