GODADDY BOWL GREAT SOUTHERN WOOD TEAM WELCOMING RECEPTION
The GoDaddy Bowl will host a southern-style shrimp boil at Ladd-Peebles Stadium to welcome the coaches and players of each Bowl team, administration, both conference commissioners and their support staff, local and national media representatives, local and national corporate sponsors, Mobile city officials, and invited guests. The Welcoming Reception is by invitation only. Ladd Peebles Stadium, 7 p.m.

GODADDY BOWL MAYOR’S LUNCHEON
Special guest speaker, Brett Favre, will address city officials, media, corporate sponsors, traveling parties of each Bowl team and other guests at a special banquet. During the banquet, the GoDaddy Bowl will present “Champions of Life.” The Champions of Life honor is given to individuals who have achieved great success through dedication and hard work. These extraordinary individuals have overcome many obstacles and have given a great deal back to the community and country. Tickets for the Luncheon are $30.00 per seat or $300.00 per table. GODADDY GREER’S/AL.COM /PRESS-REGISTER MARDI GRAS PARADE
A Mardi Gras parade will be held in the streets of downtown Mobile starting at 6:30 pm. Sixteen Mardi Gras societies will be represented with floats and throws for the crowd. Several local high school marching bands will join the parade, as well as the bands and cheerleaders from each participating Bowl team. A huge crowd is expected to pack the streets of downtown Mobile for this early rendition of the Mardi Gras season. 6:30 p.m. Downtown Mobile.

SPECTRONICS FIREWORKS DISPLAY and Al.com Pep Rally/Street party
Immediately following the Mardi Gras parade, a fireworks display over the Mobile River will highlight the festivities and set the tone for the official pre-game pep rallies and street party. Following the Spectronics fireworks display, the party will move to Water Street and South Plaza for team pep rallies and a street party

GODADDY BOWL GULF DISTRIBUTING ALUMNI GOLF TOURNAMENT
Alumni groups and fans from the competing Bowl teams are invited to play in a golf tournament at theRobert Trent Jones Golf Course at Magnolia Grove. GODADDY BOWL
A national television audience will tune in to ESPN on Sunday, January 5th, for the 15th Annual GoDaddy Bowl. The GoDaddy Bowl has built a reputation of fielding some of the most competitive and exciting games of the Bowl season. The game has featured incredible performances by future NFL standouts LaDanian Tomlinson, Byron Leftwich and Ben Roethlisberger. 8 p.m. Ladd Peebles Stadium.

Food for the Birds
Regina Gunn will demonstrate making a birdseed wreath using a recipe for a Bundt pan size wreath that all your feathered friends will love. Participants will learn how to decorate and hang a birdseed wreath and other possibilities for design using the same recipe.. Bring a lunch and a friend. Drinks provided.
