Callaghan’s is fondly recognized as an intimate live music venue for both patrons and bands. A regular visitor to Callaghan’s for many years, Dirty Bourbon River Show of New Orleans is extremely entertaining on a variety of levels. Their sound is a kaleidoscope of alt. rock, folk, ragtime and Crescent City jazz. The band accents their music with a live performance that takes on the vibe of a raucous carnival.
Dirty Bourbon is so fond of Callaghan’s and its patrons, they have chosen it as one of the locales to celebrate the release of their latest effort “Important Things Humans Should Know.” Their newest album is fresh off the presses, so they have yet to let the public sample its sounds. Their show in the Azalea City will be a good chance.
In other Dirty Bourbon news, the band is giving their lineup a feminine touch in the form of Sandra Love. Love will be a guest vocalist for the band, and the denizens of the OGD will get a proper introduction at this show.
