Pirate’s Bar & Grill’s art deco facade and beachside atmosphere has made it a staple for Dauphin Island visitors and residents. This establishment also has quite a selection of musical entertainment for its patrons.
Those looking for a Fourth of July live music experience in a family-friendly atmosphere should look no further than Pirate’s. Their Independence Day musical offerings will feature two familiar faces on the Gulf Coast music scene: Johnny Hayes & the Loveseats and Ryan Dyer. Garrett Howell and Shelby Brown will also be lending their talents throughout the day.
Johnny Hayes & the Loveseats will get the party started with an afternoon set. After establishing himself in the Southeast, Johnny Hayes introduced his blue-eyed soul to the world through his run on the music talent show “The Voice.” Since returning to the Gulf Coast, Hayes has been performing with a backup band under the moniker Johnny Hayes & the Loveseats. This group will bring a batch of Southern fried soul anthems including the very catchy “Rosé & Cigarettes.” Johnny Hayes & the Loveseats will be a great way to ease into the evening’s festivities.
The sounds of local country up-and-comer Ryan Dyer will be filling the evening’s salty air. Dyer started 2020 with the release of a song called “Nashville.” This modern country anthem is filled with lyrics pulled straight from a hard night in Music City. Dyer will entertain the crowd with this new track as well as others from his catalog. In recent news, Dyer has been in the studio preparing another single and an EP for release. His Pirate’s crowd is sure to get a taste of these new songs.
