Discover the Delta event coming to Five Rivers

Posted by Lagniappe | Apr 15, 2016 | Community News | 0 |

Leadership Baldwin County, a program designed to identify current and potential leaders and enhance leadership, will show the award-winning documentary “America’s Amazon” for free on Sunday, April 17 from 3-5 p.m. in the auditorium at the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center in Spanish Fort.

Following the film, there will be a question and answer session with Mobile-Tensaw Delta experts. The event will feature the biodiversity of the ecosystem on the delta, with a focus on the unique characteristics of the delta between Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Two of the guest panelists will include experts Lynn Raben, Michael Dorie and Bill Finch, with more speakers revealed at a later date.

Event organizers have started a Facebook page called “Leadership Baldwin Discover the Delta Project,” where more information about this event and the delta can be found.
