As jam artists have explored new directions in music, many acts have incorporated modern technology into their creative process. Elements such as live looping and EDM have been mingled with live instrumentation. The dual billing of The Human Experience and Papadosio will represent the limits of imagination.
The Human Experience is fronted by David Block, a live electronic musician/multi-instrumentalist/producer who hails from the West Coast. His website describes The Experience as “a delicious symphonic blend of prismatic soundscapes and sultry beats.” He is touring in support of his album “Embraced.”
Papadosio is bringing their mix of EDM and live instrumentation music straight from Asheville, North Carolina as a stop on its “Fourshadows Tour.” This five-piece’s progressive sound could be considered the future of psychedelic rock — they describe it as the crossroads of “revolutionary technology and an evolutionary message.” Currently, the band is finding financial backers for its next release. As with many other groups, Papadosio has employed Kickstarter in this mission. For the new album, Papadosio will give their fans a tracklist filled with songs that have never been released or performed. Potential backers have until Wednesday, April 29 to help fund this new project.
