The Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization (ESMPO) has prepared the Final FY 2016-2019 Transportation Improvement Program, which will be available for review at locations on the Eastern Shore and in Baldwin County from August 14 until Sept. 14. The document may also be viewed on the ESMPO website.

Eastern Shore MPO
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a document listing projects to be funded by the ESMPO within the next four years, using funding identified as current available or anticipated revenues. The TIP has to be approved locally before being submitted to the Alabama Department of Transportation for inclusion on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.

The MPO would like input from the public and welcomes written comments through Sept. 14. Comment forms will be available at each location.

The TIP document is available for public viewing and comments at the following locations: Daphne City Hall, Daphne Public LIbrary, Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Fairhope office, Fairhope City Hall, Fairhope Public Library, Baldwin County Fairhope Satellite Courthouse, BRATS Hub in Fairhope, Loxley Town Hall, Loxley Public LIbrary, Alabama Department of Transportation office in Mobile, BRATS hub and headquarters in Robertsdale, Baldwin County Highway Department in Robertsdale, Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce in Robertsdale, Baldwin County Central Annex Commission office in Robertsdale, Robertsdale Public Library, Baldwin County Central Annex Library Cooperative in Robertsdale, Spanish Fort City Hall, Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce in Spanish Fort and Silverhill Town Hall.

Public comments may be submitted in three ways. Comments may be mailed or hand delivered to Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization c/o Baldwin County (Fairhope) Satellite Courthouse, 1100 Fairhope Avenue Fairhope, Alabama 36532. Comments may be emailed to coordinator@easternshorempo.org or faxed to 251-580-2590.
