Margaret Biggs is drawn toward natural beauty as a subject of her visual art. Employing a style she feels is a mixture of abstraction and realism, she paints the coast in not just oils but also words. The ESAC display of her craft features some of Biggs’ poetry paired with her visual works.
“I strive to create more than just a depiction of what I see,” Biggs said. “Composition is very important to me, color is a passion, and the play between the negative and positive space are of great interest. In all I do, I try to bring the wonder, magic, and poetry I see in nature into the viewers’ lives.”
Hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday.
