Theatre 98 in Fairhope knows it can’t do anything without the efforts of the viewing public, theater lovers and others who help put derrieres in seats. So in a true spirit of gratitude, they’re giving back the love with an event.
The little facility on Morphy Avenue is hosting an open house with a champagne and Bloody Mary brunch Nov. 9, 1 p.m. The festivity is open to the public.
Even if you know little about Theater 98, this is the ideal opportunity to gain that insight … cocktail in hand, of course. You can talk to directors and actors about the season at hand, maybe even volunteer some of your own talents for the considerable work it takes to stage a show.

The theme of the event is “Red, White and Blue” and local veterans are scheduled to be recognized. There will also be a sneak preview of “Rockin’ R Ranch,” the play for the month of May which is a world premiere for a local author.
