While the weather might have cooled slightly, Alabama’s beaches are still warm and inviting. Those making their way into Gulf Shores for the weekend will want to make a stop at Big Beach Brewing Company to catch Grayson Capps and Corky Hughes.
Since relocating to the area, Capps has become a local musical treasure. His raw, unbridled vocal delivery and lyrical prose mesmerizes his crowds. With an extensive career that includes a stint in Black Oak Arkansas, Hughes is considered by many to be one of the area’s greatest stringmasters.
Since combining their talents, Capps and Hughes have been inseparable. In addition to Capps’ band, this duo spends time in the local Americana supergroup Willie Sugarcapps. They are also serve as the Frog Pond at Blue Moon Farm’s resident artists. With a European tour in the near future, fans of Capps and Hughes will not want to miss this show.
