The Industry Bar is celebrating five years of business with its “Throwdown Week” festivities. Over the years, this small watering hole nestled on Highway 90 has evolved into a haven for eclectic musical acts that take their musical journey on a different path. Two local songwriters will be lending their support.
For years, Adam Taylor has remained a notable constant in the Azalea City music scene. Taylor plucks his acoustic and spins musical tales set in a world of melancholic beauty. And with experience in bands ranging from Wallace to Sockhop Stallions, Carnival Bill Carney will bring a batch of underground folk that can go from melodic to chaotic without warning.
Rue Snider will follow the locals. This indie rocker will be performing tracks from his new album, “Leaving to Returning.” Even though Snider takes his listeners through a spectrum of emotions, the album maintains a certain lightness from start to finish.
