Two up-and-coming country artists from the Gulf Coast are stepping away from their usual beachside gigs for an evening at Manci’s. Over the past few years, Brittany Grimes has been establishing her reputation as a singer-songwriter in the Baldwin County scene. When she is not writing, Grimes makes her way along the Gulf Coast performing at venues populating the stretch between the Flora-Bama and 30A. All of her crowds receive a smooth, soulful dose of Grimes’ acoustic-based pop country accented by her sugary vocal delivery.
Perdido Key singer-songwriter Kyle Coulahan will be joining Grimes. Coulahan’s latest effort is his 2018 EP release “Pirates and Gypsies.” Judging from this album, Coulahan is an artist who has been inspired by the beachside paradise that is the Gulf Coast. “Pirates and Gypsies” features six tracks that walk the edge between country and trop rock. The combined efforts of Grimes and Coulahan is sure to bring beach vibes to the northside of Baldwin County.
