Mobile’s Tommy Chayne has been given an opportunity for which many artists yearn: to expand their listening audience beyond the Gulf Coast. Chayne has joined musical acts such as Rehab, The Lacs and Bubba Sparxxx on Colt Ford’s Average Joes Entertainment roster. As a member of Bates & the Yellowhammers, Chayne laid down his trademark hick-hop which featured a backwoods flow that made boots slide across the dance floor, especially on tracks such as “Alabama Nights.”
Chayne’s first big single is “Booze Cruise.” He contributed this track to the compilation album “Mud Digger, Volume 7.” Acoustic guitar and electric beats cradle Chayne’s rhythmic invitation to “party on the pontoon.” He accents the festive intensity of this track with an upbeat verbal flow, which is filled with Chayne’s trademark Southern rasp.
This event at Midnight Rodeo will be a chance for Chayne’s fans to help introduce him to the world. Chayne will be filming a music video for his next single, “Glowstick Party.” Those wanting to attend are encouraged to bring glowsticks and any other complementary items. In addition to Chayne’s music, those in attendance should be ready to join a charismatic party featuring hick-hop’s most promising up-and-comer.
