Flow Tribe has used its fun and infectious brand of funk to become a respected member of the New Orleans music scene. Locally, this collection of groove-oriented musicians is known to fill the house and keep the energy high throughout the evening. No one leaves a Flow Tribe show without a smile on their face and a pair of sore feet. When the band returns to Manci’s, Flow Tribe will be thrilling the audience with a jamming collection of new tracks.
“Monkey Bars” is a warm, cozy embrace of smooth horns and slow, swaying rhythms. “Tight Wire” conjures the spirit of Stevie Wonder with a bold delivery of nimble, soul vocal work that old-school bass pops. Flow Tribe swears allegiance to the sounds of New Orleans with “Good Time Girl.” This track is an eclectic mix of funk and swamp pop in the key of Delbert McClinton.
Flow Tribe is guaranteed to give the crowd a jam-filled, live translation of these tracks and more.
