In the past, Grand Central has been one of LoDa’s most rocking venues. In the past, most of the rock featured at Grand Central consisted of cover bands. However in recent months more and more original music is showcased on the Grand Central stage. A show Sept. 11 will feature three rock outfits that have really made an impression with Grand Central regulars.
Show Me Everest is an alternative rock trio comprised of former members of Top of the Orange. From the sweeping grandeur of the band’s namesake song to the raging drive of “Blood Everything,” the band has no problem exploring a variety of sounds.
Post-Mortem Delirium will also be showing some local love. Over the past few months, the horror punk outfit has been very active in the local scene. Fueled by fury and adrenaline, Post-Mortem Delirium shows their audiences no quarter.
National touring powerhouse Super Bob will be the show’s headliner. Their explosive sound will be the perfect climax to the evening’s debauchery. Super Bob phases in and out of sonic dimensions by mingling elements of industrial metal and hip-hop in the tradition of bands such as Mindless Self Indulgence.
