Development partners Leaf River Group and Bristol Development Group will hold a groundbreaking today for Meridian at The Port, downtown’s single largest residential development in more than 50 years. The more than $51 million project includes 267 luxury apartments and will be an integral part of the city’s active efforts to revitalize downtown and Water Street specifically.
The groundbreaking will be held at 300 N. Water St. at 9 a.m. Speakers include Mayor Stimpson, Councilman Levon Manzie, County Commissioner Jerry Carl, Leaf River Group’s Stewart Speed, and Bristol’s Sam Yeager. This morning, the developers released four new renderings of the project, depicted below. Is it expected to open in 2018.
