Many will be traveling to Alabama’s beaches for a romantic Valentine’s Day getaway. If you happen to be romancing seaside this year, you should acquaint yourself with Happy Harbor. For several years, this tropical venue has brought an array of musical entertainment to the Alabama Gulf Coast, but this Valentine’s Day, it’ll play host to two popular modern songwriters.
Edward David Anderson is a frequent visitor to the area. In fact, Anderson recently joined Anthony Crawford (Sugarcane Jane, Willie Sugarcapps) at his Admiral Bean Studio to lay down tracks for “Lower Alabama: The Loxley Sessions.” Anderson recorded nine tracks with Crawford that reflect his countrified Americana sound.
Seth Walker is a singer-songwriter whose music seeps with geographic influences. Born in North Carolina, Walker has spent time in cities such as Austin, Jacksonville and New Orleans. His travels have allowed him to pull from local sounds in order to create a unique regional style. Walker’s soul grooves are riddled with jazz and indie influences that should please all the beachside lovers in attendance.
