Mobile is home to many zealous supporters of local music, and they don’t limit their support to one or two bands. Local music fans dedicate themselves to a wide variety of local music acts. Over the years, Cathy Sullivan has supported the local music scene through her attendance at a variety of local shows and her volunteer work at a variety of benefits.
For quite some time, Sullivan has been battling cancer. In her time of need, a group of local musicians have rallied with Bailey’s Entertainment for an event to generate financial support for her recovery. In addition to a stellar bill of local talent, this event will feature both a raffle and silent auction.
Fat Lincoln and Cool Rayz are donating respective sets filled with many crowd favorites. Harrison McInnis will be adding his smooth soul sound to the mix. Multiple Nappie Award winner Peek remains one of Mobile’s favorite local bands; they’ll be performing originals from their two full-length albums as well as their take on a variety of covers.
With his double-threat of guitar style and vocal power, Lee Yankie will fill his time on stage with his brand of Southern-fried blues rock. Songwriter Eric Erdman will show why Muscle Shoals has been craving his music. Vickie Bailey’s vocal talents will complete the mix of charitable local musicians.
