The ethereal setting of St. Joseph’s Chapel is the perfect setting for this Yuletide concert bringing several organizations together for seasonal salute. The Greater Mobile Bay Area Choral Society, the Spring Hill College Chorale and the Boys and Girls Club Honor Chorus of Lower Alabama make a show greater than the sum of its parts for all the gathered “fidelis.”
The program of both sacred and secular will feature music by Sir John Rutter in addition to tunes from the “Peanuts” Christmas specials. One notable inclusion of local origin is “The King Shall Come” by composer, performer and Spring Hill College librarian Brett Heim.
The concert is free and open to the public. For more info, call Terry Maddox at 251-434-9325.
