Historical haunting on Royal Street

Posted by Kevin Lee | Oct 18, 2013 | Art Gallery | 0 |

A Night in the Fort
Where: Fort Condé Museum (S. Royal St.)
When: Oct. 25, 5 – 8 p.m.

Now there’s a way for kids and adults to combine Halloween fun with learning when the History Museum of Mobile hosts A Night in the Fort. Participants will be able to talk to historical characters, go on a scavenger hunt, listen to spooky stories and other tales about Mobile’s colonial history at one of our oldest historical sites. They will also be able to participate in games and activities that double as teaching tools about Mobile’s colonial lifestyles. A new Colonial History exhibit will also be on display and all children will receive a goody bag.

Entrance is $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, $3 for children seven and up. Children six and under enter free.

For more info, call 251-208-7652 or go to www.museumofmobile.com.
