When the Elberta German Sausage Festival gets underway, the people of Elberta will play host to a multitude of visitors from all over the region. The festival will be a chance to sample local sounds, arts and eats, as well as preview the region’s newest venue.
Johnny B’s Preservation Hall is the latest project from legendary local blues guitarist Johnny Barbato. Even though Barbato is still putting the final touches on this venue, it already has the warm, backwoods feel of a classic juke joint.
The Saturday afternoon lineup will feature a set from Barbato and his band, The Lucky Doggs. These local musicians will move the crowd with Southern blues featuring Barbato’s guitar prowess.
The John Hall Band will open for The Lucky Doggs. With their electrifying live delivery, this band is sure to get the party started right.
