When Toby Keith introduced the world to his 2003 hit “I Love This Bar,” no one knew it would serve as the inspiration for a franchise of family-friendly establishments, which feature delicious food, cold libations and quality live music.
On Oct. 18, the country star brought his I Love This Bar & Grill to The Wharf in Orange Beach. With a 95-foot guitar-shaped bar acting as a centerpiece, this 16,000-square-foot restaurant/venue has already filled up its entertainment calendar, and Maggie Rose is the first of many big names that will be performing over the next few months.
In 2009, Rose signed to Universal Records and introduced herself to the country music world with her cover of The Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody.” She made an appearance on the “Hot Country” chart with “Mississippi’s Crying.” However, her break-out his was “Maybe Tonight,” which was a hit with GAC viewers. Rose is currently touring in support of her album “Cut to Impress.”
