In 1927, Italian immigrant Frank Manci built his Eastern Shore gas station in an area that would become known as “Olde Towne Daphne.” Frank’s son Arthur took control of the property and obtained a liquor license. He also began decorating the walls of this business with variety of curiosities, which included an abundance of commemorative decanters.

As the decades passed, the gas station evolved into Manci’s Antique Club, a restaurant known for both its delicacies and its delicious bloody marys. After John Thompson and Harry Johnson took control, Manci’s also added live music to its formula. Manci’s 80th anniversary celebration will be a multi-day culmination of the institution’s rich history.

On Wednesday, June 15, area favorites Beverly Jo Scott and Eric Erdman will collaborate for an evening of incredible, homegrown music. The following evening, young singer-songwriter Andy Citrin will strum through a set of original music. The Crowned Jewelz will kick off the weekend on Friday with an impressive, energetic set of soulful funk. On Saturday, Manci’s will host Rondale & the Cool Rayz and on Sunday, June 19, Erdman returns to share the stage with The Mulligan Brothers’ Ross Newell.
