The Merry Widow is having a Fourth of July pre-party with an explosive lineup of music that should rival the holiday’s traditional fireworks. These three bands may offer this venue’s most intense show to date.
Mobile’s Post-Mortem Delirium will bring an onslaught of metal-infused horror punk to the stage. The crowd will rage to cuts from the band’s 2015 release “End This Plague.”
Black Titan will also lend local support to this show. With a lineup of seasoned local musicians from diverse musical backgrounds, Black Titan conquers its audiences with a sludgy mix of doom and stoner metal. This quartet will fill The Merry Widow with sounds from its full-length “The Bag is in the River.”
Daikaiju will return for another attack on the Azalea City. This band has taken surf rock into another dimension, both in the studio and on stage, and its live show is its most powerful weapon. With Japanese kabuki masks covering their faces, Daikaiju provides its audiences with a high-energy set from start to finish.
