Once again, Blue Moon Farm is filling the autumnal months with Sunday Socials by The Frog Pond. This rural location in Baldwin County has become one of the Southeast’s most popular music destinations for songwriters and music lovers alike.
Grayson Capps and Corky Hughes host these events, mingling their voices and guitars with an ever-changing lineup of popular names from the modern songwriting scene. Guests never know who might show up to grace The Frog Pond stage.

Local songwriter Harrison McInnis will open the day with a set of soulful originals, many of which will be featured on his upcoming album. Mobile’s Will Kimbrough will also be in attendance, and the chemistry between Kimbrough and his fellow Willie Sugarcapps bandmates Capps and Hughes should accent this afternoon performance.

Also on the bill is Mississippi’s Cary Hudson, who established his legacy with the Southern alt. rock band Blue Mountain and since then has gained notoriety with his solo compositions. The inclusion of another Mississippi native, Webb Wilder, will add an eclectic flair to this lineup. Wilder is best known for his mid-20th century sound reflecting a plethora of rock styles, from surf rock to rockabilly. The Frog Pond audience might get to sample tracks from his latest album, “Mississippi Moderne.”
