Prepare for a lineup made up of a musical mixed bag of bands that will step wide across the spectrum of sound.
Engine will be travelling from northwest Louisiana to entertain the masses at Alchemy Tavern. This group has crafted their own brand of rock that pulls from a variety of sources. Some songs are tinged with ragtime overtones, while others delve into the Capricorn sounds of the 1970s.
Birmingham’s The Glass Jars bring a batch of rock ‘n’ roll that pulls inspiration from ‘90s alternative rock outfits such as The Pixies and Cowboy Junkies. Vocalist/guitarist’s Shawna Ross’ haunting vocals are carried by polished instrumentation.
Mr. Clit & the Pink Cigarettes are the wild card in this lineup. Hailing from Indianapolis, Davey Gravey, Ayesha Clarissa and Abby Hart will deliver a vehement taste of some of the dirtiest punk sounds in existence. Each song is an onslaught of organized chaos that will embrace the eardrum before annihilating it.
