Band: MOB Music Fest Virtual Experience
Date: July 10-12 at 5 p.m.
Venue: Facebook (@mobmusicfest) and mobmusicfest.com
With COVID-19 still rearing its head in a variety of locations, many music events across the nation have been cancelled and rescheduled only to be cancelled once again. This is especially true for music festivals such as Bonnaroo, which recently announced the event’s rescheduled date would not be happening. Music festivals are starting to get innovative with musical deliveries. MOB Music Fest has decided to take its mission to the internet with the MOB Music Fest Virtual Experience. For three days, MOB Music Fest will livestream performances from participating artists.
Even though the lineup has yet to be released, MOB Music Fest has used the past two years to establish a reputation for bringing a number of regional up-and-comers to its stage. This annual event also prides itself in featuring a variety of different genres. The 2019 MOB Music Fest featured the Mardi Gras brass of the Second Line Society; Paid to Pretend brought their indie rock to the mix; Michael Slater & Company added a little gospel; and Young Hurt represented the hip-hop community. With this in mind, the virtual installment of MOB Music Fest is sure to have something for every taste.
