Police arrest two teens in Delauna Anderson murder

Posted by Jason Johnson | Dec 1, 2016 | Latest, News | 0 |

Overnight, Mobile Police arrested two teenagers in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Delauna Anderson, who was found shot to death in her vehicle near the I-10 service road Oct. 18.

According to police, Anderson — a single mother — was on her way to work in Mississippi when she was killed during what now appears to have been a failed robbery.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, police announced the arrest of Iseral Hall, 16, and Antonio Lang, 18, in connection to Anderson’s death.

Hall is being charged with felony murder and unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, while Lang will face a capital murder charge.

As the pair was being escorted from MPD headquarters, Hall told reporters they had only intended to steal Anderson’s car.

Records with Mobile County Jail also indicate Lang has been arrested by the Mobile Police Department on unrelated charges two separate times since Anderson’s death.

On Oct. 31, he was picked up on charges of carrying a pistol without a permit on Oct. 31, and on Nov. 13 Lang was charged with third-degree robbery.

Those are the only charges listed in accessible jail records, though Lang only recently turned 18.
