When Glenn Danzig left horror punk impresarios Misfits, Michale Graves took over vocal duties and established a following that endures. With Danzig’s return, Graves parted ways with Misfits and went on to front both a namesake band and Gotham Road, both of which maintain a horror punk focus. Graves’ Azalea City audience can expect to hear songs from throughout the singer’s career.
Two local bands will also be included. Curse the Flesh will fill its set with the intense grind of original metal, including dark anthems from the quintet’s latest release, “Black Majesty.” Mobile’s horror punk specialists Post-Mortem Delirium will also lend support. Their hybrid of punk and metal has provided the band an extensive following along the Gulf Coast.
