Band: 27th annual Daphne Jubilee Festival
Date: Sept. 26-27 at 10 a.m. daily
Venue: Olde Towne Daphne
The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to celebrate community spirit on the streets of Olde Towne Daphne Sept. 26-27. The 27th annual Daphne Jubilee Festival will have something for everyone. In addition to a food court, a “craft beer garden” will allow festival-goers to sample some of the Southeast’s finest brews. The creations of 130 regional craftsmen and artisans will be featured in a juried show. The festival will also feature hands-on art stations for children.
The Daphne Jubilee Festival will feature two days of local entertainment. Singer-songwriter Christina Christian will kick off the music on Saturday. The classical sounds of Roman Street will follow. John Law Band will provide raw country sounds. The crowd can also sample the talent of Neil Dover. Mississippi Americana rockers Rosco Bandana will be Saturday’s headliner; their unique Southern-fried alt. rock has made them a local favorite. On Sunday, MidLife Crisis will close out the festival.
