Formed in 2008 at Vanderbilt University, Ars Nova String Quartet has studied and performed across Europe and the United States. In 2010, they attended the Vanderbilt Academie in Aix-en-Provence, France, and a trip to Vienna resulted in a performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet with former member of the London Philharmonic, Philip Tarlton.

They will appear in Mobile with pianist Robert Holm for a performance of Robert Schumann’s Piano Quartet, op. 44 and Caesar Franck’s Piano Quintet.
