The Bluegill has transcended generations and survived hurricanes to bring good food and good times to the Causeway. After building their outdoor venue, The Bluegill became a local favorite for experiencing music in an organic environment and maintains its reputation with another Nappie Award for Best Outdoor Bar to See Live Music.
Over the past few years, the Mobile area’s country scene has been growing and gaining momentum. Before relocating to Nashville, Wes Loper was considered one of the Gulf Coast’s premiere country performers. Judging from his recent shows in the area, Loper has not lost his connection with his Gulf Coast roots.
While many travel to Nashville with aspirations of stardom, Loper went to Nashville to work. While making connections in the cutthroat town, Loper has also performed in numerous cities around the Southeast. Loper’s set list will include country favorites as well as cuts from his original releases “Keep On Groovin’” and “Somethin’ Real.”
