New theatre group hold auditions

Posted by Kevin Lee | Apr 23, 2014 | Art Gallery | 0 |

Christopher Peck is not only an assistant professor in the Department of Dramatic Arts at the University of South Alabama but is also a founding member of a new company in Mobile known as Makalani Theatre Ensemble. Their inaugural play, “Brilliant Traces” will be staged this coming June but they still have a vital role to fill.

Interested and aspiring thespians can cast their lot into the ring by showing up at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center in late April. The announcement from Peck said they are looking for “one female, age 20 – 35, to play the role of Rosanna.” No preparation is necessary as “sides will be provided as cold readings.”

For further info, you can contact the group at [email protected].

“Brilliant Traces” auditions
Where: University of South Alabama, Laidlaw Performing Arts Center
When: April 28 & 29, 7 p.m.
