Hailing from the badlands of Grand Rapids, Mich., Pop Evil is making their way back to the Azalea City with a vengeance. With their vehement style of rock and intense live show, this band has no shortage of local fans. Pop Evil followers have been enjoying their latest single “Torn to Pieces” and its companion video. “Torn to Pieces” is the third single released from their latest effort “Onyx,” which has already spawned the hit tracks “Deal with the Devil” and “Trenches.”
Escape the Fate is on the road as the co-headliner of this tour. This band represents the next step in the evolution of hardcore metal. Escape the Fate’s time on the stage will be highlighted by endless volleys of guttural vocals and thunderous guitar chords. Escape the Fate is touring in support of their 2013 release “Ungrateful.” This album features “Picture Perfect,” which was co- written with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy.
Avatar will be one of the most impressive acts of the night. This death metal outfit was forged in the cold metal winds of Sweden. This band’s performance tends to lean on the dramatic side with driving metal strums accenting the bellows and roars of enigmatic front man Johannes Eckerström.
Glamour of the Kill rounds out this metallic foursome. This group promises to deliver a full- serving of metalcore goodness. “Savages” is the latest album from Glamour of the Kill.
